INVESTORS ASSOCIATION MEET TO DISCUSS IN CACHE VALLEY

People of All Ages Discuss Investment Strategies

LOGAN, Utah--Local investor spreads the idea that people can be happy through financial independence. This is the basis of the Cache Valley Area Investors Association (CVAIA).

Preston Parker, associate professor at Utah State University, is the president and founder of CVAIA. Parker said, “Achieving financial independence can bring happiness.”

The focus of CVAIA is education and networking. Meetings are held every other Thursday at 7 PM to discuss investment ideas such as passive income. Passive income is income derived from business investments in which the individual is not actively involved, such as a real estate limited partnership. According to Parker, “Passive income gives you financial independence.”

CVAIA began in August 2007 and has 150 members.

  1. Very clean. Your contact information top and bottom, and everything else is well written and easy to read. I would re-work the lead. Preston isn't the most important information and it is the first thing you mention with local investor. I would state happiness can be achieved through financial independence and talk about passive income, earned income, and expenses before you get into the CVAIA. What you have on the CVAIA is really good it just needs to get moved down in the press release and the focus should be on the cause.

  2. Your formatting is immaculate! Your contact info, headline, lead... It all looks very legit.

These sentences seem to repeat themselves and could seem redundant. Maybe combined them or rewrite if possible: "...ideas such as passive income. Passive income is income derived..."
